Ha Long City June 11, 2013Petrolimex Petrochemical Corporation (PLC) successfully held a seminar on high grade engine oil CATER CI-4 in this city of Quang Ninh Province.

PLC CI-4 is the pride of PLC, a leading company in Vietnam in the production of lubricants and greases and is a member of Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) with prestige and trust by a large number of big clientele in Vietnam.

PLC CI-4 is the first product made by a Vietnamese lub-producing company and fully certified by American Petroleum Institute according to API :CI-4/SL

This seminar drew the attention of a large number of customers at home and abroad.

LUBRIZOL, a world leading supplier of additives sent its representatives to the seminar, giving a speech on the superior features of engine oil API: CI-4/SL in which the additive is an important component for the high grade of the product.

More than 120 domestic and international customers attended the seminar.

Traditional customers of Petrolimex sent leading technical and trade officers and experts to the seminar. Mining units belonging to Vietnam Coal and Minerals Group (TKV), NorthEast Company belonging to the Ministry of Defense, contractors of mining equipment like Komatsu, Caterpillar, Volvo, Daewoo, Belaz, SANY… were present.

The success of this seminar once again points to Petrolimex and PLC immutable policy of supplying high grade lubricants and oils, meeting ever higher demand by modern equipment and vehicles, substituting import products, reducing exhaust gas, and friendly with the environment.

At the seminar, PLC briefed the delegates on the modern infrastructure and modern chain of production of the two lubricant plants at Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh Cities.

PLC lubricant plants are managed according to ISO 9001:2008 standard, capable of producing lubricants for Petrolimex brand, marine lubricant of Total Lubmarine, lubricants for car/motorcycle makers in Vietnam (Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kubota), through blending contract with JX-NIPPON OIL Group of Japan.

Next to that PLC has laboratories VILAS 017 & VILAS 022 to control the quality according to standards ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/IEC 17025:2005 to ensure the quality of products in market and in the hand of customers.

The seminar supplied technical and production information, the standpoints on quality policy of PLC to delegates, creating the understanding between enterprises, on goods and services so as to cooperate for development in the spirit of “moving further”.

The seminar is also a step of PLC in its effort to materialize the policy of intensifying the business of goods and services by Petrolimex and the guidelines “Vietnamese should prefer using Vietnamese goods” .
