Hanoi May 31, 2013. Petrolimex Jet Fuel Joint Stock Company (Petrolimex Aviation-PA) and Viet Jet Air officially signed a contract for jet fuel supply.

Attending the signing ceremony were Vice Minister of Commerce and Industry Nguyen Cam Tu, Vice Minister of Communication and Transport Nguyen Van Cong, Deputy Director General of Vietnam Civil Aviation Dinh Viet Thang, Petrolimex Group BoM Chairman Bui Ngoc Bao, Chairman of Sovico Group cum Vice Chairman of VietJetAir Air Nguyen Thanh Hung, Vice Director General of Petrolimex Pham Duc Thang together with representatives of divisions, departments of the Ministries of Commerce and Industry, Communication and Transport, member companies of Petrolimex, Sovico and VietJetAir.

At the ceremony, Petrolimex Group Chairman Bui Ngoc Bao took note and commended the efforts exerted by officers and workers of PA. After 5 years of hard work of construction, they supplied Jet fuel (Jet A1) at Noi Bai, Da Nang and Tan Son Nhat in the 3 regions of the country. Besides the airlines of long history , PA also supplied fuel for VietJetAir, the private airlines of young and dynamic features, the one of “cheap airfare but high quality service” of Vietnam.

In witness of high officials, BoM member/Director of PA Pham Van Thanh and Vice Director of VietJetAir Dinh Viet Phuong officially signed the fuel supply contract.

Until now, PA has safely fuelled VietJetAir at the rate of 16flights/day at Noi Bai, 8flights/day at Da Nang and 20flights/day at Tan Son Nhat. The average volume of fuel supplied per month stood at 5,000cbm.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Minister of Commerce and Industry Nguyen Cam Tu highly commended Petrolimex in general and PA in particular for their efforts in supplying jet fuel in Vietnamese airports, contributing to making a sound and developing jet fuel market in Vietnam.

The Vice Minister also congratulated the airlines for its contingent of newest and modern aircrafts in the region, and as the first private airlines to ply international routes and all over Vietnam. The Vice Minister emphasized that VietJetAir together with the civil aviation sector is the important bridge that opens the economy, integration and development of the country.

VietJetAir BoM Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Hung expressed his sincere thanks to related Ministries, Vietnam Civil Aviation Department for the attention and support, took note of the trust and cooperation between VietJetAir and PA in the spirit of “moving further”.

Besides, VietJetAir expressed their desire that in the time to come PA makes further investment and supply service at any airport which VietJetAir has the flights.
