PLC May 13-16, 2013World top ranking marine lubricant company TOTAL LUBMARINE dispatched to Vietnam top ranking specialists in technology and production of lubricants to assess the chain of quality and technical infrastructure at the service of marine lubricant production by Petrolimex Petrochemical Company (PLC).

This is a move in the framework of cooperation and experience sharing by Total Lubmarine global chain including PLC.

The Total Lubmarine specialist team worked with PLC, directly made assessments at two PLC lubricant plants at Thuong Ly, Hai Phong and Nha Be, Ho Chi Minh City.

At the end of the assessment time, the Total Lubmarine team met with leaders of PLC and informed the latter of their high assessment of PLC productivity and technical infrastructure.

Besides, the specialists shared the information and experience in the assessment of quality chain at 65 lubricant plants of Total Lubmarine world wide.

Since 1994, Vietnam National Petroleum Corporation, (now Vietnam National Petroleum Group, Petrolimex) has been the partner of Total Lubmarine in the production and business of marine lubricants field in Vietnam with brand name of Lubmarine

By power of attorney of Petrolimex, PLC directly signed partnership contract with Total Lubmarine to continue fulfilling the commitment between Petrolimex and Total Lubmarine , i.e. to produce and deal in marine lubricants Lubmarine in Vietnam market and export marine lubricants to regional markets of Asia and Pacific.

PLC is the only one in Vietnam having two lubricant plants at Thuong Ly, Hai Phong City and Nha Be, Ho Chi Minh City meeting Total Lubmarine requirements in technical and technological blending, in which:
Nha Be Lubricant Plant blends and packages the marine lubricants for domestic market and blends marine lubricants for Total Lubricants Vietnam Ltd.

Thuong Ly Lubricant Plant ensures the task of producing lubricants to meet demand of ports in northern Vietnam and exports to regional markets such as Hong Kong, China, Taiwan…
