On September 3, 2025, in Bangkok, Thailand, the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex), represented by its subsidiary Petrolimex Da Nang (Petrolimex Region V), was honoured to receive the Excellence Award for Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) at the 6th ASEAN-OSHNET Awards Ceremony.

The award ceremony took place on the sidelines of the annual ASEAN-OSHNET Coordinating Board Meeting, held in Thailand’s capital on September 3–4, 2025, with Vietnam participating as a member country.

It was a moment of pride for Vietnamese enterprises as Petrolimex Da Nang, a subsidiary of Petrolimex, was the only Vietnamese company honoured with the 2025 Excellence Award for outstanding management and implementation of occupational safety and health (OSH) practices. Only 16 companies across the ASEAN region were selected for the award this year makes this recognition more significant.

Established in 2016, the ASEAN-OSHNET Award is a biennial international accolade aimed at encouraging businesses of all sizes to raise workplace safety standards and foster a strong OSH culture throughout the region. Awarded companies serve as exemplary models of best practices in OSH and as benchmarks for other ASEAN member states to follow in strengthening their own occupational safety and health systems.
