Dong Van District, Ha Giang 22 Jan. 2013, Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) coordinated with Dong Van District People’s Committee organized the hand over of rice for Tet festivals for poor households in 19 villages and towns in Dong Van district on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of The Mouse 2013. Total volume of rice was 19 tons worth 285 million dongs from the Social Fund of the Group.

At the hand over meeting, Mr. Phan Thanh Son, Vice Chairman of Vietnam Petroleum Trade Union revealed that this is the fourth year of Petrolimex program of rice giving to the poor in Dong Van so as to share the difficulties the people are encountering in the days between crops so that compatriots would be happier in welcoming Tet. The gift is the manifestation of the sense of sharing the joy and sorrow and the responsibility toward the community of the workers of Petrolimex.

On this occasion, Petrolimex Ha Giang donated 200 gift boxes comprising cakes, candies and monosodium glutamate worth nearly 20 million dongs for 200 poor households of Sinh Lung and Ta Phin villages.
