Petrolimex Youth Union hosts award ceremony for “Petrolimex – For a Green Vietnam” online run 2024

On November 14, at the office of the Vietnam National Petroluem Group (Petrolimex/Group) at No 9 Dao Duy Anh St. Hanoi, the Group’s Youth Union organised the Award Ceremony and summarised the achievements of outstanding individuals and teams from the Group’s Office who participated in the 2024 online race "Petrolimex Run- For a Green Vietnam".
The award ceremony was attended by Deputy Director General of the Group, Nguyen Ngoc Tu; Vice Chairman of the Group's Trade Union, Nguyen Doan Thuong; Deputy Chief of Office, Ha Kim Anh; member of the Group’s Trade Union Executive Committee and head of the Group's Women's Affairs Committee, Le Nguyen Thuy Giang; Secretary of the Group's Youth Union, Tran Quang Vinh; Deputy Secretary of the Group's Youth Union, Nguyen Ngoc Tu; Secretary of the Youth Union of the Group's Office, Nguyen Anh Hoang; as well as the winning teams and individuals, and those who completed their registered distances at the Group’s Office.
Speaking at the awards ceremony, Deputy Director General, Nguyen Ngoc Tu, praised the overall results of the run, particularly within the Group's Office. The run attracted 187 athletes out of a total of 275 employees from the Group's Office, accumulating nearly 15,000km and contributing almost VND75 million (US$ 2,930) to the Petrolimex tree-planting fund. Furthermore, the run connected and unlocked the potential of each athlete, enabling them to surpass the distances they personally registered for. The Deputy Director General expressed his hope and belief that the running movement will continue and expand in the coming years, contributing to the promotion of the Petrolimex brand as they celebrate the 69th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group.
At the award ceremony, the Youth Union of the Group’s Office summarized and evaluated the significance of the run, and presented awards according to the structure of the Parent Company's awards. This included team and individual awards for various distances, as well as commemorative medals for athletes who completed their registered distances (34.5km, 69km, 97km).
