Petrolimex in conjunction with the Petrolimex Information Technology and Telecommunication JSC (Piacom) opened a course training end users how to use the SAP ERP system for Petrolimex subsidiary companies in the South on June 18 at the meeting hall of the Petrolimex Sai Gon.

The opening of the training course witnessed the attendance of Petrolimex Sai Gon Deputy Director Nguyen Van Canh, Petrolimex ERP Division cadre Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, ERP Department leadership, representatives from Accounting and Finance Division, Petrolimex Sai Gon Personnel and Organization Division, Piacom lecturers and more than 500 trainees from the group’s subsidiaries.

Addressing the opening of the training course, Petrolimex Sai Gon Deputy Director Nguyen Van Canh requested the company’s professional divisions and departments to support and create the most favorable logistic conditions such as equipment and devices and location for the course. He also called for their assistance for trainees during the whole period of the training as well as extracurricular activities at the Petroleum Retail Enterprise, and at the Nha Be Petroleum Base Depot.

The training course organized from June 18 to July 6 was instructed by Piacom lecturers. It was divided into two classes of Logistics (LO), and Financial Accounting – Controlling (FI – CO). One of the key goals of the training is to enable the users to have a thorough grasp of the operation as well as functions of the SAP ERP system and effectively employ professional processes into the system based on a model which Petrolimex is applying in order to “go further".
