Petrolimex Aviation officially opened its new branch at Cam Ranh International airport in the south coastal central province of Khanh Hoa on July 18, 2015.

The Cam Ranh branch is located on a plot of land specially designed for aviation fuel suppliers at Cam Ranh International Airport with a total area of nearly 8,000 square meters. The depot accommodates three fuel tanks with a capacity of over 2,000 cubic meters. With qualified technology and management systems in line with the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the Joint Inspection Group (JIG), and EI 1530 standards; safety, fire control and prevention, and environmental protection system meeting the national standards; as well as first-class fuel trucks plus a contingent of experienced cadres and employees, Petrolimex Aviation branch at Cam Ranh International Airport is well-prepared to supply fuels for aircrafts in accordance with IATA standards and for the most advanced aircrafts as well. It can be affirmed that this will be a standard complex fully satisfying requirements for the company’s supply of aviation fuels in accordance with international and national standards. As soon as the Cam Ranh aviation fuel depot came into operation, Vietjet Air chosen Petrolimex Aviation as the airline’s official provider of aviation fuels at Cam Ranh International Airport as of June 23, 2015.

Addressing the grand opening ceremony, Deputy Head of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, Dinh Viet Son, acknowledged and highly appreciated contributions that Petrolimex Aviation has made to improving the country’s aviation fuel market, which has created various options for customers and helped with the rapid and strong development of the Vietnam’s aviation industry in recent years.

Also on the same day, Petrolimex Aviation organized a Thank You Party 2015 for the firm’s customers at Vinpearl Premium Nha Trang Bay, one of the 29 most beautiful bays in the world. Participants included nearly 200 representatives of national and international airlines; representatives of State aviation management bodies, Central ministries and sectors, and Khanh Hoa Province; and company’s partners since it was established on April 28, 2008.

Addressing the opening of the Thank You Party, Petrolimex Aviation general director, Pham Van Thanh expressed his warm welcome to all distinguished guests; deepest gratitude to the Government Office, Ministry of Planning and Investment, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Transport, and other Central ministries and sectors and Khanh Hoa Provinces, particularly Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, the northern, central, and southern Airports Authorities, Vietnam Airlines, the Air and Air Defense Force, Vietnam Air Force’s 370 Division, Vietnam National Petroleum Group, and Petrolimex member corporations and companies; and thanks for the trust that customers, domestic and foreign airlines, have put in Petrolimex Aviation over the past time as the official aviation fuel supplier at Tan Son Nhat, Noi Bai, Da Nang and Cam Ranh international airports. He also committed to best fulfilling responsibility of a supplier, to ensuring security, complete safety, and best services for customers.

Following the past successes, Petrolimex Aviation will continue investing and upgrading lab facilities and devices, applying advanced technologies to the management of business operations, increasing the number aviation fuel supplying trucks at airports, optimizing transport and storage processes to minimize operation costs and ensuring to supply aviation fuels for customers at reasonable prices.
