In the morning of August 28, 2013, at Ky Tan village, Ky Anh district, Ha Tinh province Petrolimex Ha Tinh held the opening of Ky Tan service station on national highway 12A, the bloodline linking Vung Ang deep sea port to the Laos People’s Democratic Republic.

Ky Tan service station came into being right at the time of the 22nd anniversary of Petrolimex Ha Tinh (Sept.5, 1991 – Sept.5, 2013) and the celebration for August Revolution and National Independence Day (Sept. 9).

Attending the opening ceremony were leaders from the Department of Industry and Trade, Fire and Salvage Police Department of Ha Tinh province., People’s Committee of Ky Anh District, People’s Committee of Ky Tan Village and customers and partners of Petrolimex Ha Tinh in Ky Anh premise.

The construction of Ky Tan service station started in February 2013 with design for a modern one comprising 3 lanes, concrete ground and Tatsuno pumps at a cost of more than 4 billion dongs.

Ky Tan service station has the main duty of doing business in oil retailing, petrochemical products at the service of the people, enterprises and projects for the mountainous area of Ky Anh and transportation means plying on this bloodline route 12A linking Vung Ang seaport with the friendly country of Laos, contributing to stabilizing oil market in the premise and the increasing demand for fuels.

At the ceremony, Mr. Vo Van Tan, Chairman and Director of Petrolimex Ha Tinh on behalf of the leadership and workers of the company expressed his thanks to the People’s Committee of Ha Tinh province together with departments and branches of the province and district Party Committees, Ky Anh Village Party and peoples committees and the people of Ky Tan Village for their positive support and facilitation of conditions for Petrolimex Ha Tinh to complete this project.

Also at the ceremony, Chairman and Director of Petrolimex Ha Tinh entrusted the duty for the station chief and staff or Ky Tan station, in which, Mr. Vo Van Tan emphasized “ Always heighten the responsibility to best serve customers requirement, scrupulously ensure the task of fire prevention and fighting, preservation of environment, security and order, and to have good relations with local authorities and people.”

Right after the opening ceremony, the station came into operation. This is the 50th service station of Petrolimex Ha Tinh and the 9th one in Ky Anh distinct.
