Petrolimex Aviation Fuel JSC held an unusual Annual General Meeting on January 10, 2017 at the headquarters at No 1 Kham Thien Street, Hanoi. General Director of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) and chairman of Petrolimex Aviation Board of Management Pham Duc Thang chaired the event.

At the meeting, shareholders trusted and unanimously passed the results of voting Mr. Nguyen Van Hoc – the authorised representative for PETROLIMEX shareholders’ capital invested in Petrolimex Aviation – and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung – the authorised representative of MIPEC shareholders’ capital invested in Petrolimex Aviation – as additional members of Petrolimex Aviation Board of Management; and voting Mrs. Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai as an additional member of the Supervisory Board, raising the total member of the Board of Management to five and that of Supervisory Board to three in order to reinforce the management and governance work to meet the Company’s increasing demand for development.

Also at the meeting, member of Petrolimex Aviation Board of Management and General Director Pham Van Thanh presented a report on the company’s production and business results in 2016 and solutions to implement 2017 plan. The report shows that Petrolimex Aviation sales increased by 17 per cent of the 2016 set target and by 124 per cent over 2015. The efficiency surpassed 2015 and upped by 184 per cent as compared to the target set by the Annual General Meeting. The sale of goods for domestic and international customers stayed stable and efficient, debts were closely monitored, and security and safety were well-maintained and satisfied increasing demands for the company’s business.

The shareholders highly appreciated and recognised the all-out efforts and impressive performance undertaken by the managing board and the whole staff in 2016. They also called for Petrolimex Aviation to quickly and drastically carry out production and business activities on the very first days of the new year to fulfill objectives set for 2017, continuing to affirm and highlight the status of Petrolimex brand in the business of aviation fuel to go further.
