At the conference, PLC presented the operation capacity, and material and technical facilities of PLC’s two lubricant plants in Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh cities. PLC’s lubricant plants have applied the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system and are fully capable of manufacturing Petrolimex lubricants, and Total-Lubmarine maritime lubricants of international quality. PLC’s testing rooms Vilas 017 and Vilas 022 have also applied the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/IEC 17025:2005 quality management systems.
The conference enabled Total-Lubmarine specialists to introduce the participants with the maritime transport market in the world and the general trend of the maritime transport development in the future. In addition, Total-Lubmarine specialists also spoke of the international convention on Sulphur Emission Control Areas (SECA), some types of recently-developed lubricants and biological oils fully meeting new regulations on environmental protection.
On this occasion, PLC received quite a few opinions expressing the trust that customers have had in PLC over many years ago as well as opinions recommending product policies and selling price, among others in order to help the corporation enhance its capacity and prestige in the field of maritime lubricants in Viet Nam.
PLC General Director Nguyen Van Duc took the chance to express his deep gratitude to the trust as well as co-operation that PLC’s customers have had in the corporation over the past years. He is convinced that such cooperation would continue to be maintained and further developed in the years to come. The General Director said PLC would keep co-operating, assisting and sharing difficulties with customers in the current circumstance when the country’s maritime transport sector is experiencing many hardships. In the coming time, PLC would further intensify the organisation framework, enhance labour productivity, and reduce production cost so as Total-Lubmarine maritime lubricants produced and supplied by PLC are of high quality and best competitive price.
As the conference brought to an end, representatives from maritime transport companies and PLC leaders expressed their confidence that co-operation between two sides will be increasingly fruitful in the years to come.
