IOC working visit to Petrolimex
Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOC) paid a working visit to Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) this after of Oct. 10, 2014 at the latter’s office at No. 1 Kham Thien Street, Hanoi by the introduction of the Indian Embassy to Vietnam in order to develop the economic cooperation between the two countries following the visit to Vietnam by Republic of India President Pranab Mukherjee.
At the meeting, IOC Planning and Business Development Director D. Sen briefed on the strong points of IOC in the fields of marketing and distribution of oil products, pipe laying, storaging and refinery… , expressing the will to invite Petrolimex to join in the petrochemical complex being invested by IOC in India, as well as rthe wish to do business in bringing IOC petrochemical products to Vietnam through a joint venture with Petrolimex.
Vice Director General of Petrolimex Tran Ngoc Nam expressed his thanks and took note of IOC good will. Proceeding from the meeting, Petrolimex would make feasibility study on IOC proposed supply of technological service for petrochemical refinery, storage installation, and oil pipe line transport. With regards to petrochemical products and gas, the Vice Director General suggested direct meetings with Petrolimex Petrochemical Corporation (PLC) and Petrolimex Gas Corporation (PGC) who are two specialized corporations in line of Petrolimex. Vice Director General Tran Ngoc Nam hoped that cooperation would be fruitful with good indications in the time to come.
