40 years of construction and development, Petrolimex Saigon has been associating with the growth of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex), along with each stage of development – innovation - and integration of the country.

During the 40-year journey, Petrolimex Saigon has always been completing the assigned tasks: ensuring absolutely safety, providing full of strategic gasoline – fuel resources timely for socio-economic development, national defence – security and energy security; meeting the essential needs of the people in Ho Chi Minh City and Southern regions; constantly investing to modernize the technical infrastructure system; developing the human resources; and successfully pioneering the application of advanced standards for managing risks, improving productivity and increasing efficiency in production and business activities.

To get these achievements, in 40 years - Petrolimex Saigon has established and connected effectively the six important elements are the core values in order to create incentives for sustainable development, namely:

10 years of take overing and clinging to overcome difficulties (1975-1985), 15 years of innovation and rise (1986-2000), 15 years of development and integration (2001-2015): It's a 40-year journey of the generations of Petrolimex Saigon staff over time. 4. Connecting to the Authorities and the City: Competitive power from macro environment

As an enterprise in which the Government is the owner, Petrolimex Saigon has actively worked, reported and coordinated closely with the relevant agencies to promptly acquire the leadership, direction and support of the Party agencies, central governments, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ho Chi Minh City and the Vietnam National Petroleum Group: This is a factor - particularly important core, taking the high principles has helped the Company to ensure the absolute safety in the production and business activities, at the same time promoting strength from the macro environment to fulfill political tasks and improve the efficiency of trade in 40 years.

Petrolimex Saigon acted on The Vietnam National Petroleum Group’s authority to complete the duties of coordinating between Petrolimex members in Southern region thus focusing on commodity resource, optimizing development investment to create the strength of Petrolimex system in the market.

6. Connecting with the community is the responsibility of businesses

Actively participate in social welfare activities, Petrolimex Saigon has always been the support of the Group, the government and local people. These charitable activities to share material assistance, moral support for policy beneficiaries, disadvantaged people.
