Facing unusual and different changes ever of the global petroleum market in 2022, by ceaseless efforts, proactive attitude of the Group and member units plus implementation of synchronous, flexible and adaptable solutions to ensure smooth, continuous business and production activities, Petrolimex achieved positive business performance:

1. Closely following up goals and solutions set up by General Meeting of Shareholders, BOM; completing business and production plans 2022; business and production activities of non-petroleum member units ware positive, affirming as one of 02 key pillars of the Group with a profit exceeding 45% of the 2022 plan.

2. Petrolimex continues affirming it leading petroleum brand downstream through ensuring supply for people and economic development, petroleum market stabilization, especially in times of shortage of petroleum supply and business shutdown of petroleum wholesale traders.

3. Well and continuously implement, improve and innovate management and governance activities in the whole system of the Group. In the context of economic tough times, the Group still maintains stable employment and improve living standard and income for nearly 26,153 employees and laborers in the whole system.

2023 is forecast to continue facing difficulties and challenges due to the risk of global economic recession. As forecast, there are still risks in petroleum markets. The Group considers 2023 as a pivotal year the implementation of the business and production plan and a 5-year investment and development plan 2021-2025, opening up a new development circle of the Group in application of automation technology, deep and wide digital transformation in its business and production activities; implementing its strategic goals to become a clean, green, high quality, environmentally friendly energy group.

In order to achieve the above goals and complete business and production plan 2023, Petrolimex is going to focus on implementing key missions and solutions as follows:

1. Well organize the work of creating sources and its key role in petroleum market stabilization and ensuring national energy security.

2. Strengthen security and safety on fire fighting and prevention, environmental protection, financial safety, legal safety, etc. in the process of business and production activities, ensure sustainable development of the Group.

3. Invest and develop petroleum station network with a strong focus on developing petroleum stations on expressways, provincial roads, urban areas, etc. to continuously reinforce direct retail sales channels.

4. Drastically implement the contents of restructuring scheme 2021-2025 and a vision to 2035; petroleum business and production plan and a 5-year investment and development plan in 2021-2025 approved by the General Meeting of Shareholders dated December 06 2022.

5. Promote digital transformation, automation in all aspects, focus on digital transformation, automation at petroleum stations, terminals and storage tanks to enhance management capacity, competitiveness and labor productivity.

6. Drastically implement new projects and development orientations of the Group in construction and renovation of petroleum stations, optimizing goods transportation process and developing truck service stations.

7. Proactively do research, build the digital transformation roadmap toward green, clean, environmentally friendly energy Group.

With a sense of responsibility to shareholders, the Board of General Directors and all employees of Vietnam National Petroleum Group will strive to fulfill the business plan for 2023 as assigned by the General Meeting of Shareholders and the Board of Management of the Group.
